-အသိအျမင္မဲ့တဲ့ လူယုတ္မာေတြကို ဆရာႀကီးလုပ္ၿပီးအေကာင္းအဆိုး

အေၾကာင္းအက်ဴိးေတြကို သြားမေျပာနဲ႕။သြားေျပာရင္ အျပစ္ပဲရမယ္။

- Never preach to or try to remonstrate

with ignorant or evil people. The detriment will be yours only.

- ေကာင္းစြာထားေသာ စိတ္က မဂ္ဖိုလ္ နိဗၺာန္ဆိုတဲ့

ေလာကုတၱရာခ်မ္းသာျပည့္စံုေအာင္ လုပ္ေပးနုိင္တယ္။

(စိတ္ေကာင္းထားပါ)။

-Have a good heart.It can put you on the path to Nibbana

(supramundane state of true bliss).

-သာသနာေတာ္နဲ႕ ေတြ႕ႀကံဳပါလ်က္ နတ္ကိုးကြယ္မႈနဲ႕

ေက်နပ္ေနလွ်င္ သာသနာပ-ကလူနဲ႔ ဘာမွမထူးဘူ။

-If you are content with spirit worship

(Nat)in the era of perpetuation of lord

Buddha's teachings (sasna), you are not any

different from a person living in the Dark Ages when Buddha's

teachings were non-existent.

-မစင္ဆိုတာ အမ်ားႀကီးွရိွမွ မဟုတ္ဘူး။ နည္းနည္းေလးရွိလည္း

မေကာင္းတဲ့အနံ႕ထြက္တာပဲ။ ဘ၀ဆိုတာလည္း

အမ်ားႀကီးမွ မဟုတ္ဘူး။ တစ္ဘ၀ဆိုဆိုသေလာက္

ဒုကၡေတြ အမ်ားႀကီး ေတြ႕ႀကံဳခံစားရတယ္။

- Excrement gives off a bad odour,

however small in amount. Life can also

be a series of suffering even in one short

existences.

-ေရွ႕မွာခ်ီးမြမ္းေပမဲ့ ကြယ္ရာမွာ အပုပ္ခ်တဲ့လူကို အဆိပ္အုိးထဲက ပ်ားရည္လို ေရွာင္ၾကဥ္လိုက္။

-One who speaks ill of you behind your back while full of praise face to face is

like honey in a pot of poison. Avoid such a person.

-ႏွိမ္နင္းရန္ ခဲယဥ္းတဲ့စိတ္ လ်င္ျမန္တဲ့စိတ္

သူေရာက္ခ်င္ရာ ေရာက္တဲ့စိတ္ကို ဆံုးမလ်င္ေကာင္းတယ္။

ဆံုးမလို႔ ယဥ္ေက်းလာလွ်င္

ဒီစိတ္က ခ်မ္းသာကို ေဆာင္ေပးတတ္တယ္။

-The mind is difficult to conquer. It can

fly swiftly. It roams freely. Once you

conquer your mind,you will realize.

-ဓါတ္လို္က္ၿပီး ေသမွာ ေၾကာက္တဲ့သူက

လွ်ပ္စစ္ဓါတ္အားေတြ လာေနတဲ့ ၀ါယာႀကိဳးုကုိ မကိုင္ရဲသလိုဘဲ

အပါယ္ေလးပါး ေဘးဒုကၡကို ေၾကာက္လန္႔တဲ့ ပုဂၢိဳလ္က

ဘယ္သူမွ မသိလည္း အကုသိုလ္မလုပ္ရဲဘူး။

-A person afraid of being clectrocuted

never touches a live wire; a person with

great fear of the four nether worlds

(apaya) after death never indulges in

evil or impure acts of demerit (akusala).

ၾကာျမင့္စြာ ကြဲကြာ၍ ရပ္ေ၀းမွ ခ်မ္းသာစြာ ျပန္လာသူကို မိဘေဆြမ်ဴိးေတြက

၀မ္းေျမာက္၀မ္းသာ ႀကိဳဆိုၾကသလို ကုိယ္ျပဳထားတဲ့ ကုသိုလ္ေတြက ကိုယ့္ကုိ

ႀကိဳဆိုေနၾကလိမ့္မယ္။

-Just as a long-lost son returning safely from afar enjoys the warmth and

welcoming embraces of the joyful family, your acts of merit will always

be yours to enjoy.

-ေပါက္ဖက္နဲ႕ ေတာင္ဇလပ္ပန္းထုပ္လွ်င္ ေပါက္ဖက္ပါ ေမႊးသလို

ပညာရွိနဲ႔ေပါင္းလွ်င္ အေမႊးနံ႕ႀကိဳင္မယ္။

-A sweet smelling flower gives its fragrance the leaf used as wrapping

association with a good, wise or moral person will give one a good reputation.

-မိဘက သားသမီးကုိ ပစၥည္းေတြ ပံုေပး၍ ေလာကီခ်မ္းသာ ျပည့္စံုေအာင္ လုပ္ေပးႏုိင္တယ္၊

ေလာကုတၱရာခ်မ္းသာ ျပည့္စံုေအာင္ လုပ္မေပးနုိင္ဘူး၊

-Parents can shower their children with worldly

riches and possessions (Loki/ Mundane), but not with true

riches and possessions (Lokutara/Supramundane)

which will accompany them through the samsara.

-အနာမရွိေသာလက္ျဖင့္ အဆိပ္ကို ကိုင္လွ်င္ ဘာမွ မျဖစ္ပါဘူး၊

ေစတနာမရွိဘဲ ျပဳမီလွ်င္ အကုသိုလ္ မျဖစ္ပါဘူး။

-A hand free from cuts and bruises can handle

poison without any ill effects;

a wrong committed unintentionally

will not be attended by demerits.

-မေကာင္းမႈျပဳထားလွ်င္ ေကာင္းကင္မွာ ေနေန

သမုဒၵရာမွာ ေနေန ေတာင္ေခါင္းထဲ ေနေန

မေကာင္းမႈမွ မလြတ္နိုင္ပါဘူး။

-There is no way one can escape the demerits

of one's misdeeds whether one is in the sky,

underneath the ocean or inside the deepest mountain cave.

-ေသျခင္းတရား- (ေသမင္း)က ႏွိပ္စက္ေတာ့

ဘယ္ေဆြမ်ဴိးမွ မကယ္ႏုိင္ဘူး။

-nobody-not even closest relatives can save

you from the clutches of death.

-ေထာင္ကိုျမင္ေတာ့ ရာကိုစြန္႔တယ္။ မဂ္ဖိုလ္ နိဗၺာန္ခ်မ္းသာ

လိုခ်င္ေတာ့ ကာမဂုဏ္ခ်မ္းသာ စြန္႔ရတယ္၊

-One has to sacrifice small amounts of money to

reap better financial results.

Forego the worldly pleasures if you want the fulfilment

and genuine joy of attaining Nibbana.
